Vintage Iris Flowers Tassels Ribbon Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvas 16" Square

Striking vintage hand-painted needlepoint canvas featuring red and coral iris flowers against a dramatic black background, surrounded by richly patterned borders and tassel motifs.  An embroidered floral ribbon is incorporated into the design and remains attached with straight pins. The original instruction label explains that the ribbon should be removed before stitching and sewn back into place after the needlepoint is completed.  Design area: approximately 16 x 16 Marked: V925  Vintage and unused/unstitched. Designer is currently unidentified.  Sale includes the canvas and original decorative ribbon only.
