1982 American Eagle 200th Anniversary Belt Buckle 24K Gold Silver Plate COA

Vintage 1982 American Eagle 200th Anniversary commemorative belt buckle issued by the International Monetary Mint to commemorate the bicentennial of the American Eagle (1782–1982).  According to the original Certificate of Authenticity, the buckle is crafted of fine silver plate and highlighted with a layer of genuine 24-karat gold. It was produced as a strictly limited edition available only during the 1982 bicentennial year, after which the original dies used to strike the buckle were to be destroyed.  The buckle features a highly detailed American eagle in flight with a mountain landscape in the background and contrasting gold-tone and silver-tone finishes.  Includes: Original Certificate of Authenticity Original presentation box American Eagle belt buckle  Certificate is numbered/stamped 103346.  Vintage pre-owned condition. The buckle shows some age-related surface wear/tarnish, and the original box has visible wear from age and storage. The certificate also shows age-related discoloration and writing.
