Vintage lot of 72 Venus Forum 739 No. 2 woodcase graphite pencils from Venus Pen & Pencil Corp.  • 72 pencils total (6 packs of 12)  • Original paper retail sleeves included  • Marked Venus Forum • Pressure Proofed • 739 No 2  • Classic yellow hex body with pink erasers and aluminum ferrules  • Grade No. 2 (Medium Soft) graphite  Manufactured by Venus Pen & Pencil Corp., Lewisburg, Tennessee.  These are unused new old stock (NOS) pencils. The original paper sleeves show some light marks and discoloration from storage, but the pencils themselves have never been used.  The Venus Forum 739 Pressure Proofed series was designed to resist breakage and was a popular mid-20th-century school and office pencil. Today they are collectible vintage writing instruments and great for collectors, artists, writers, or classroom use.  Ships securely packaged.
